Kasia Wozniak is a Polish photographer and visual artist based in London. Her practice is rooted in an exploration of memory, time, and the materiality of the photographic image, with a particular focus on historical processes such as wet plate collodion. Through this analog approach, she challenges conventional notions of photographic truth and investigates the tactile, temporal qualities of the medium.
Wozniak holds an MA in Fashion Photography from the University of the Arts London (2013), where she was awarded the Harold Tillman Scholarship. From 2022 to 2024, she was an artist-in-residence at the Sarabande Foundation, established by the late designer Lee Alexander McQueen.
Wozniak’s work has been exhibited in leading institutions including the National Portrait Gallery, Museum of London, Somerset House, Saatchi Gallery. She has spoken about her process and the evolving role of photography at events such as the London Art Fair, University of the Arts London, the International Photography Festival in Wales, and the Art and Fashion Forum in Poland.
Her clients and publications include 10 Magazine, Beauty Papers, British Library, Dazed and Confused, Dapper Dan, It’s Nice That, Jocks & Nerds, Ton, Vogue and V Magazine. In addition, she produced and photo-edited Fashion Image Revolution, a book centered on legendary printer Brian Dowling, authored by Charlotte Cotton and published by Prestel.
